Meet Your Instructors

Nancy R. Wasdin

A managing attorney at Wasdin Closing Group LLC, focusing on residential real estate closings and small business administration matters. Ms. Wasdin also practices in estate planning and probate, serving as Guardian Ad Litem for the Gwinnett County Probate Court. Admitted to practice in Georgia in 2004, she earned her undergraduate degree in Business Marketing from Pennsylvania State University and her J.D. from Georgia State University. 

Satonja Gilbert Scott

A Partner and Managing Attorney at Elite Law, where she focuses on Real Estate Law (closings-purchases and refinances, loan modifications, reverse mortgages, lines of credit, title insurance, title search and clearance) and Business Law (business formation and Business Asset Purchases). Ms. Scott was previously at Gilbert & Watkins where she practiced mostly Business Law and Real Estate in this two-attorney practice. Her clients range from sole proprietors to major corporations. Industries include retail, restaurant, service, banks and credit unions, and small business owners. Services include business entity consulting, franchisee and license agreements, capitalization, stock certificates, leases, employment contracts, and other contracts. She is admitted in Georgia. Since 2007, she has also served as an adjunct professor at several local colleges in the Atlanta area, where she instructs students in courses, such as Business Law, Real Estate, and Ethics. Mrs. Scott graduated summa cum laude as a Thurgood Marshall Scholar from Florida A&M University (FAMU) with a B.S. degree in Political Science. She received her J.D. degree from Georgia State University College of Law in 2001.
